Brent Richardson

CEO and founder
Enrichd Group
Australia

Brent Richardson’s journey from a Google executive to a purpose-driven CEO is both unconventional and inspiring. As the youngest account executive at Google North America, he led portfolios for bluechip clients like Spotify, the NBA, and The New York Times. Burnt out and out of step with his own values, Richardson took a step back in Southeast Asia to rethink what success really meant.

Returning to Australia, he founded Enrichd Group, a specialist agency for purpose-driven brands and not-for-profits. At the heart of the shop is his ‘Purpose as a Product’ philosophy - simply put, meaningful impact can be combined with marketing smarts to deliver results that truly matter.

Last year, the shop had a record growth streak with a YoY profit spike of over 50%. Under Richardson’s leadership, Enrichd has delivered over $500 million in client sales, run more than 300 social impact campaigns, and created the award-winning ImpactIQ dashboard that measures real-world social outcomes alongside traditional campaign metrics. In 2024, the agency scooped major accolades in Australia’s trade awards, all while boasting a full staff and client retention. Clearly, doing good can go hand in hand with doing well.

Richardson has overseen over 40 purpose-led campaigns, including projects for OzHarvest Ventures, Goanna Academy, Onside with the Mariners, and the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC). These campaigns have influenced behaviour across 7.2 million Australians. Highlights include the IGCC Climate Action campaign that reached 4.7 million people and made media headlines, and the Goanna Academy programme, now in over 100 communities, which won the 2024 New South Wales Wayahead Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing Award.

The teams at Enrichd are as diverse as its portfolio. 70% of staff come from non-Anglo backgrounds, half are women, and retention is 100%. Richardson speaks widely on AI, inclusion, and purpose-led marketing, and champions First Nations and youth-led initiatives. He even raises funds for at-risk youth through DJ competitions; purpose, for him, is personal. Earlier this year, he spoke at the 2025 National Sports Convention on AI, inclusion and purpose-led marketing.

For this commitment to using marketing to make a difference, Richardson is a proud member of Campaign’s 2025 40 Under 40 class.
