Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has appointed Hilda Kitti as its new chief marketing officer for Indonesia, effective May 1, 2025. Kitti succeeds marketing director Abhinav Dwivedi, who joined the company in 2023 and stepped down four months ago for personal reasons. She will report to Rajesh Sethuraman, CEO of Indonesia and global business transformation and IT head at GCPL.

A seasoned marketer with nearly two decades of experience spanning FMCG and digital ecosystems, Kitti brings a wealth of expertise in consumer engagement, e-commerce, and digital transformation. Most recently, she was senior marketing director at Tokopedia and TikTok Commerce in Jakarta, overseeing integrated marketing for TikTok Ecommerce across Southeast Asia. She led teams across brand, creative, partnerships, and media channels to elevate brand metrics, drive user growth, increase platform traffic, and maximise business impact through efficient marketing investments.

“TikTokShop by Tokopedia has cracked the code in creating a seamless journey from inspiration to purchase,” Kitti said, reflecting on her experience. “Live commerce, in-the-moment deals, and affiliate marketing are now table stakes in e-commerce growth. Brands must rethink their content strategies to remain agile and consistent while leveraging diverse creators.”

Early in her career, Kitti joined Unilever, where she spent over a decade managing leading brands like Rexona, Dove, and Citra, for market development, product innovation, and digital-first campaigns. In 2020, she crossed over to the tech and digital space, holding marketing leadership positions at Meta for Indonesia, Malaysia, and TikTok.

Kitti’s move to Godrej is driven by the company’s vision to make marketing more consumer-centric and future-ready. “I see immense opportunities to drive growth in digital, e-commerce, community building, and strategic partnerships across the Godrej portfolio,” Kitti said. “My goal is to bring an experimentation mindset—to fail fast and forward or succeed fast and scale.”

Sethuraman, the country chief executive, believes Kitti’s experience will be key in enhancing consumer engagement and agility across the business. “Hilda’s expertise in the digital space will help us transform our marketing efforts to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape,” he said.
