Spikes Asia 2026: Entries open with new Creative B2B category

Refreshed categories honour design, cultural connection, and creator-driven storytelling, alongside a week-long celebration of creativity ahead of the March 2026 ceremony.

Spikes Asia has opened submissions for its 2026 Awards with the introduction of a new Creative B2B Spikes Award category to recognise outstanding creativity and effectiveness in work designed for business audiences.

“The 2026 Awards mark an exciting chapter for Spikes Asia,” said Melanie Speet, director of Spikes Asia. “Our updates ensure we continue to reflect the changing shape of creativity across APAC – from bold, diverse storytelling to ideas increasingly powered by technology and innovation. Creativity in this region continues to set new benchmarks globally, and Spikes Asia evolves in step with that progress to celebrate the full spectrum of creative excellence emerging from APAC.”

Alongside the new B2B category, the Design Spikes now include a Transformative Design section to honour design that delivers measurable impact through innovation. A new Cultural Engagement category has been introduced across all Cultural & Context sections to celebrate work that connects authentically with diverse communities across the region.

The Glass: The Award for Change has evolved to highlight long-term impact and inclusive representation across a broader range of communities. Meanwhile, the Social & Creator Spikes Award has been updated to match the rise of the creator economy and the growing influence of content creators in shaping brand narratives.

“Spikes Asia has always been the benchmark for creative excellence in APAC,” said Marian Brannelly, global director of awards at Lions. “We’ve seen incredible momentum from the region’s B2B sector, with entries from APAC-based B2B brands rising by 76% year-on-year. By introducing the Creative B2B Spikes, we’re giving brands and agencies a dedicated platform to have their work recognised, raise creative standards, and celebrate the impact of this fast-growing sector.”

Beyond the awards, Spikes Asia will also bring back its week-long celebration of creativity, learning, and networking ahead of the awards ceremony in March 2026. Details of the programme will be announced in the coming months.

Entries for Spikes Asia 2026 are open until Thursday, January 29, 2026. Detailed information is available at www.spikes.asia.
