1. How did you end up being a creative?
It began with my dad, who was an architect. I’d often spend time in his office after school, playing around on Paint and drawing whatever came to mind. That simple routine helped me develop a visual language that I kept refining. Choosing communication design as my college major deepened my skills to understand the broader landscape of design. It eventually led me to motion graphics, where I’ve found a perfect balance of art and storytelling.
2. What's your favourite piece of work in your portfolio?
It’s an infographic motion graphic video I made for Trend Micro. What made it special was the creative process: crafting the storyboard and brainstorming ways to break down complex information into bite-sized, engaging visuals. It was a rewarding challenge to turn complex cybersecurity information into a clear, compelling narrative. It felt like a puzzle and seeing it all come together was super satisfying.

3. What's your favourite piece of work created by someone else?
Hands down, the music video for Tame Impala's Feels Like We Only Go Backwards (directed by Joe Pelling and Becky Sloan), which totally mesmerised me the first time I watched it. The way they pulled off that stop motion technique is just genius. As a motion graphic designer, I can’t help but admire how smooth the transitions are and how they vibe perfectly with the song. It’s such an inspiring visual journey.
4. What advice would you give to 10-year-old you, if you could?
I’d tell little me that being a kid is gold. Don’t waste a second wanting to grow up. Life will take care of itself; just have the best time right now and know that everything will work out as it should.
5. What really motivates you?
I’m driven by my family, my dog, and my love for travel. My family has my back, my dog brings me happiness, and I see money as a way to explore new places. Each trip abroad gives me a fresh dose of motivation. I think it’s all about the perfect blend of personal connections and the excitement of new experiences that keeps me going.
6. What's on your bucket list?
Honestly, the Galapagos Islands are at the top of my bucket list. Being an animal lover, I just want to check out all the awesome wildlife living free there. The thought of snorkelling and maybe seeing manta rays and sharks is just mind-blowing.
7. What’s your favourite music / film / TV show / book / other of the past year, and why?
My top pick for the past year is definitely Saltburn, directed by Emerald Fennell. I love dark comedies, and this film kept me on the edge of my seat like a rollercoaster. Also, the visuals are captivating—the camera work, colour grading, talented actors/actresses and music choices all come together to create a unique atmosphere that draws you in.
8. Tell us about an artist (any medium) that we've never probably heard of.
I’d like to introduce you to Bomfhaa, an incredible illustrator based in Thailand and a true inspiration to me. We met at my first job as a graphic designer, but she eventually took the leap to pursue her passion for painting and drawing full-time. Watching her journey motivated me to keep chasing what I love, too. Even though we’re on different paths now, it’s amazing to see us both following where our hearts lead.
9. What's your guilty pleasure?
I’ve got to admit, most of the time I skip the new releases and just re-watch my favourite films. Even though I know the endings, there’s something so comforting about diving back into those familiar stories.
10. What app could you absolutely not live without? What app do you wish you could delete?
The one app I can’t live without is Google Maps. My brain just doesn’t do street systems, and I have zero sense of direction, so it’s a total must-have for me. As for an app I wish I could delete, it would be social media as I’d love to escape my addiction, but I’m way too hooked to do it.
11. Extrovert or introvert?
I’m 100% an introvert! I enjoy being at home and find that crowded environments can be overwhelming.
