40 Under 40 2025: The next generation of marketing leaders

Forty innovators, 14 markets, shared ambition. Meet the new wave of marketing leaders in the region.

This year’s 40 Under 40, our 13th edition, reflects Campaign's ongoing commitment to achievement, industry excellence, diversity and inclusion. With 20 women and 20 men among the winners from 14 markets across the region, this gender balanced cohort of outstanding talent from across the wide swath of Asia-Pacific markets is a reminder that talent, impact, and leadership deserve recognition wherever they emerge.

These rising stars show that marketing’s influence goes far beyond campaigns. We received 20% more entries this year, making the jury’s task tougher than ever to form this year's highly selective list. Look closely at the winners, and the range of impact becomes clear. One left a high-profile tech role to nurture a small side project that has since grown into a national platform, blending commercial success with sustainability, cultural resonance, and social impact. Many continue to excel at their day jobs and manage to carve out the space and time to mentor, advocate, and give back. Another, the youngest rising star at their agency, manages multi-market campaigns, aces new business pitches, champions pro bono work at her local art gallery, and develops tools and processes that elevate the entire industry.

We could go on. 

No doubt, these 40 innovators are shaping the way we think about marketing. They anticipate trends, translate insight into action, and make innovation feel effortless. In a world of AI and endless online noise, their work reminds us that curiosity, courage, and human intelligence, not solely algorithms, shape the future of this industry.

Chosen from scores of nominations, this group reflects the full spectrum of marketing today: global holding company agencies, independent and local agencies, brands, media publishers, adtech and martech players, and data and analytics specialists.
