With a Law Degree from Universitas Indonesia and further education at Harvard Law School, Shinta Nurfauzia's journey from law to entrepreneurship was driven by her family's struggle with diabetes. She founded Lemonilo, a leading healthy lifestyle consumer goods brand, with a mission to disrupt the consumer goods industry by offering healthier alternatives.
Under her leadership, Lemonilo has achieved significant milestones, including the successful launch of products like Brownies Crispy, which became a market leader in Indonesia. Under her guidance, such products grew sales and distribution, leading Lemonilo to reach profitability by its eighth year in business.
Nurfauzia's strategic vision extended Lemonilo's reach to the US, Qatar, and Malaysia, entering major retailers such as Costco, Pavilion, and Al-Meera. Recognised for her impact, Nurfauzia was awarded Most Promising Entrepreneur in 2024 by Metro TV’s People of The Year awards in Indonesia.
Her leadership is characterised by a commitment to purpose, empathy, and innovation, reflected in Lemonilo's core values and internal programs like Lemonilo Academy for skills development and Lemonilo Book Club to foster shared learning. Nurfauzia's initiatives also focus on employee well-being and community impact, supporting programs for women's and children's empowerment. Initiatives include her implementing flexible working hours, a lactation room, an in-office playground and family-friendly policies that allow children at work when necessary. To support mental well-being, Nurfauzia has provided access to licensed psychological counselling.
Nurfauzia's contributions have significantly influenced healthier eating patterns by eliminating preservatives and artificial food colouring, while increasing physical activity among consumers, as backed up by a study from the Institute for Economic and Social Research University of Indonesia citing Lemonilo. Such advocacy for the business community and her mentorship of young talents further solidify Nurfauzia role as a pioneering leader in the FMCG sector.
